This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email design@unlimity.co.uk and we'll explain.

Who we are

Unlimity Ltd ("Unlimity", "we", "us") is a design partner for startups, based in the UK. We decide how the information described here is used, which makes us its controller under UK data protection law. You can contact us about anything on this page at design@unlimity.co.uk.

In short

  • We only use cookies if you choose Accept, and only for Microsoft Clarity.
  • We count visits with Framer Analytics, which doesn't use cookies.
  • If you get in touch, we use what you send us to reply.
  • We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

When you get in touch

Our Get in touch form asks for your name, work email, company or website, your company's stage, what you need support with and a message. We use this to reply to you and, if we work together, to plan the work. If you email us directly, the same applies.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and taking the steps you ask for before we agree any work. The form is run by Framer, which hosts this website, and your message is sent to our inbox at design@unlimity.co.uk. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request. If we don't end up working together, we delete them within two years.

Visit statistics (Framer Analytics)

This website is built and hosted on Framer, which counts visits for us with Framer Analytics. It records the pages you view, the site that sent you here, and general details such as your browser, device type, country, time zone and language. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device. Framer says it turns your IP address and browser details into a code that changes every day, so your visits can't be linked over time or to you.

We use these numbers only to see how the site is doing and to improve it. UK law allows this kind of statistics without asking first, as long as we tell you about it and you can object. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works. If you'd rather not be counted, a content or tracker blocker in your browser will stop it, and you can email design@unlimity.co.uk to object.

Microsoft Clarity (only if you accept cookies)

If you choose Accept on our cookie notice, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site, so we can improve it. Until you do, Clarity isn't loaded at all.

Clarity records how you use our pages: clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement. It turns this into heatmaps and anonymised replays of visits. It also collects your browser and device details, your approximate location from your IP address, and the pages you view. Clarity hides what you type into forms.

Microsoft runs Clarity and processes this data on our behalf. The data may be stored in the United States, and Microsoft protects it with the safeguards described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity keeps visit replays for 30 days and heatmap data for up to 13 months. Our legal basis is your consent.

You can change your mind at any time: choose at the bottom of any page and press Reject. We stop Clarity straight away and delete its cookies from our site. Clarity's cookies on Microsoft's own domains can be cleared in your browser settings.

Fonts from Google

Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. To send the font files, Google's servers receive your IP address and browser details. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing the site as it was designed. See the Google Privacy Policy.

What we keep in your browser

Some features keep a small amount of information on your own device. It isn't sent to us.

  • Your cookie choice. We remember whether you chose Accept or Reject, so we don't ask on every page. We ask again after six months.
  • The Audit Crush leaderboard. Audit Crush, the arcade game on our Work page, keeps its leaderboard in your browser. If you submit a score, the name and email you enter are saved there too, on your device only.
  • A copy of your message, if sending fails. If your message doesn't send and you press Send again, we keep a copy in your browser until it's sent or you close the tab, so you don't have to type it again.

The Microsoft cookies are only set after you choose Accept.

  • Framer B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) hosts this website, runs the contact form and Framer Analytics, and keeps standard server logs. See the Framer Privacy Statement.
  • Microsoft runs Clarity, only if you accept cookies.
  • Google serves our fonts.

We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it
  • limit how we use it, or stop using it
  • send it to you or another organisation in a format a computer can read

Where we rely on your consent, as with Clarity, you can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings. To use any of these rights, email design@unlimity.co.uk. We'll reply within the time the law gives us, normally one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first at design@unlimity.co.uk so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
